Our Business

GPS Central is a completely independent, totally Canadian business specializing in GPS products with our entire operation located in Calgary, Alberta. GPS Central is a trademark of Mach Ten Enterprises Inc. Our emphasis is on the Canadian recreational and marine GPS market, and we welcome global customers. GPS Central Wholesale Division serves businesses, government, other institutions and NGOs. Our staff have provided GPS customer support services since 1999, and we have been supplying GPS equipment directly since our Authorized GARMIN Dealership was established in 2000. In 2006, GARMIN confirmed that GPS Central was its leading dealer within Canada, and we would like to thank everyone who has helped us achieve this ranking in an extremely competitive marketplace. GPS Central (Mach Ten Enterprises Inc.) was a finalist for the Calgary 2003 Emerging Enterprise of the Year Award.

Our aim is to provide the highest quality GPS shopping service available in Canada and worldwide. We will treat customers and competitors alike with respect, honesty and good humour at all times. Our main focus is our web store. We also provide a more personalized alternative - to typical online merchandising and order fulfillment operations - with our hands-on display centre at our Calgary retail location. Our Best Total Price Assurance Please let us know if any other Authorized Canadian GARMIN, Magellan or Lowrance online/retail dealer is offering products for online sale at lower bottom line prices so that we can offer you the best total deal on identical in stock items after shipping and taxes are taken into account. We make this offer primarily so you can base your decision concerning where to shop on considerations other than price. Our price match offer does not cover special orders, newly overhauled products, products in short supply or on backorder with our supplier, or products advertised by non-Canadian dealers, unauthorized dealers, or non-online/retail dealers. We may not be able to match clearance prices or those of goods being dumped on the local market, but we will attempt to match any genuine prices for identical items currently offered for online sale by retail dealers for in stock items. We stock Garmin's automotive, outdoor/handheld and marine GPS product lines as well as fishfinders, handheld Aviation models, OEM/Sensors and accessories and mapping products (verify Garmin). Similarly, GPS Central is an authorized Magellan Dealer (verify Magellan), an authorized Lowrance dealer (verify Lowrance), a TomTom dealer (verify TomTom), an authorized RAM Mount Dealer (verify RAM), an authorized GolfLogix dealer and authorized GlobalSat Reseller. GPS Central is an authorized Dealer or Reseller for Touratech, Fugawi, Digital Ocean, CoPilot, OziExplorer, Spectrum Digital Imaging, Etopo/Memory Map, Franson/GpsGate, OnCourseNavigator, Geocaching. Any unstocked item may be available, on a Special Order basis, depending on availability at manufacturers.

Our Prices

All prices displayed in our web store are in Canadian dollars. They do not include GST/HST, which is added in the checkout.* Also, because we are located in Alberta - one Canadian province with no provincial sales tax - no PST is charged to you. If you are purchasing from outside Canada, the exchange rate used for any credit card transaction will depend upon the rate used by your bank at the time.

*Federal GST = 5% all orders; HST = 14% for Novia Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland & Labrador 'ship-to' orders.
