This GARMIN bracket swivels and tilts for optimum viewing and has a locking mechanism to keep unit secure. Accepts optional external power adapter for quick connection to a DC power supply.

The base is secured by three screws, the rest of the mount swivels on that base and can be locked in position by tightening the central knob. The GPS slides easily into the cradle and is held secure by pins that fit into small holes on the back of the GPS when the locking lever is moved into position.

The cradle can be tilted for optimum viewing and can be secured firmly in position. If required, the swivel portion and cradle can be removed, leaving just the circular base in position.

Note: Base components from the Universal Friction Mount Adapter Kit or the Universal Adhesive Mount Adapter Kit can be used with the GPS 76 series Marine Mount bracket to provide temporary bean-bag or secure adhesive mounting. No need to buy two brackets!
