Garmin GA27C Low Profile Remote Antenna

This small, waterproof and completely sealed low profile remote antenna can be used externally to receive satellite signals when the GPS unit is located in a position where reliable signals cannot be picked up.

The anti-glare coating on some windshields and embedded radio or heater wires can all cause blockage of satellite signals and in these situations a remote antenna is required.

A remote antenna is also useful in cold conditions when the GPS unit can be carried in a warm position and only the antenna need be mounted externally on ATV or snowmobile.

The Garmin GA27C runs on a lower voltage so battery drain is minimized, and is for use with Garmin MCX connector-ready GPS units such as the StreetPilot 2610, StreetPilot 2620, Quest, iQue M5, iQue 3200, iQue 3600, GPSMAP 60, GPSMAP 60C, GPSMAP 60CS, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76, GPSMAP 76S, GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76CS, GPS 12XL.

A BNC to MCX adapter cable enables use of the GA27C with BNC connector GPS units such as the StreetPilot III Deluxe, GPS II Plus, GPS III Plus, GPS V Deluxe, GPSMAP 176, GPSMAP 176C, GPSMAP 276C, GPSMAP 196, GPSMAP 296C

Two mounting options are included: Magnetic mount for the outside of your vehicle or boat. Suction mount holds antenna in place against the inside of your windshield or window.
