This cable allows you to make a powerful connection between your GPS and your PC.

You can create routes and waypoints on your PC and transfer them to your GPS, and also download map detail from MapSource CD-ROMs to compatible units. Keep the firmware in your GPS up to date with downloads from Garmin's Updates and Downloads pages.

Cable features a RS232 serial port connector. Does not provide wiring for external power. If you require connection to a DC power source at the same time as connection to your PC use the PC Combination Cable (or the low voltage combination cable for the GPS 12)

Can be connected to USB port with USB to Serial Cable Converter.
