This cable allows you to connect your GPS with your PC.*

You can create routes and waypoints on your PC and transfer them to your GPS, and also download detail from MapSource CD-ROMs to compatible units. Keep the firmware in your GPS up to date with downloads from GARMIN's Updates and Downloads pages.

Cable features a RS232 serial port connector.

• Does not provide wiring for external power.
• For use with 7 pin GPS models must be used with either: Cigarette Lighter Adapter (010-10077-00), Power/data Cable (010-10083-00), or A/C Adapter (010-10153-00). A 7-pin alternative for PC use with A/C power is the A/C, PC Interface Cable (010-10275-00).
• For use with 18 pin GPS models must be used with either: Cigarette Lighter Adapter (010-10208-00), or Power/data Cable (010-10209-00). An 18-pin alternative for PC use with A/C power is the A/C, PC Interface Cable (010-10276-00).

* NOTE: This cable is also compatible with the discontinued models GPS 65, GPS 100, GPS 120/120XL, GPSMAP 130/135 Sounder, MAP 205 GPSMAP 210/220 when used with a suitable power supply cable.
