Touratech Mounts for GPS

Touratech's exceptionally robust aluminium mounting cradles are made in Germany, especially designed for motorcycle/off-road use and will protect the electronics of your GPS and hold it securely under harsh riding conditons. Touratech mounts are vibration isolated and include antenna support and damping for models with a removable antenna.

For touring motorcycles where vibration may not be a serious concern, consider the advantages of the high-tech good looks and practicality of Touratech mounts to enhance the appearance and value of your motorcycle as well as to secure your GPS.

Touratech cradles can be mounted directly on the crossbar of off-road bikes, fairing brace or anywhere you have a 1/2" bar. For other installations, Touratech cradles can also be mounted using a variety of RAM components that can be attached to the flat baseplate of the cradle.

Recommendation: For dual sport use, dirt bikes, race bikes, or any other high vibration/high RPM use, it is recommended that the motorcycle's 12 volt system is used to power the GPS to avoid battery shutdown under vibration, UNLESS a MvG super-vibration isolated mount is used (065-0035 for the GPS III/V or 065-0055 for the GPSMAP 176/176C and 196). Many Touratech mounts positively accept and retain the 12 volt adapter cable.
