The Universal Friction Mount Kit is designed to provide convenient temporary mounting for your GARMIN GPS receiver. In order to complete this installation, you will also need the Mounting Bracket for your particular GPS model.

Components supplied in this new Universal Friction Mount Adapter Kit allow you use the cradle from the marine mount for the GPSMAP 176, GPS 76/GPSMAP 76, GPSMAP 60 series, eTrex series, Colorado series, Oregon series or Dakota series with the Friction Mount Base -- with no need to purchase a second cradle and bracket!

The portable, pliable, sure-grip mount conforms to any horizontal surface. The Pivot Automount Adapter or Round Automount Adapter swivels in the base and the locking lever keeps the unit securely in position.

Note: Compatibility with an eTrex series product requires the prior purchase of an eTrex Marine Mount. Compatibility with a GPS 76-series product requires the prior purchase of a GPS 76 series Marine Mount. Compatibility with a GPS 60-series product requires the prior purchase of a GPS 60 series Marine Mount. Compatibility with a Colorado, Oregon or Dakota series GPS unit requires the prior purchase of a Marine Mount.
