User Defined Alerts - BSM's highly customizable armoured
car solution enables managers to tailor the system to meet ever
changing business requirements. Alerts include a host of standard
events, complete with user specific business rules. Alerts are
sent out automatically as they occur. Alarms are sent out when
they occur through the redundant networks to assure notification
of the alarm.
Restricted
Drive-off -The vehicle is automatically armed when the rear
compartment hopper leaves vehicle and the driver is given a limited
predefined distance in which the vehicle can move prior to it
being shut down.
Smart
Controller - The device has 30 programmable inputs and outputs
that can be programmed to meet various business requirements including
mobilizing and immobilizing vehicles, turning on sirens and horns
as well as monitoring door openings.
Reduce
Vehicle Maintenance Costs - Preventative maintenance is far
less expensive than having to deal with major repairs at a later
date. Moreover, the opportunity cost of not having a vehicle on
the road far exceeds performing routine maintenance. Driver habits
play a key role in determining when preventative maintenance should
take place. The Sentinel-FM system can detect a variety of driving
habits that can lead to premature vehicle degradation. Driving
habits such as excessive braking, excessive speeding, and engine
vitals (monitoring of engine vitals is dependant on the information
provided within the vehicle bus in addition to interfacing) can
all be remotely monitored. Moreover, detailed reports can be provided
daily, monthly, or on demand.

Device Support - The SentinelFM system is scalable and can
ultimately support a wide variety of devices that offers greater
security and efficiency... Devices can include, MDT's (Mobile
Display Terminals), bar code readers, PDA's, key pads, digital
cameras, biometric devices, panic buttons, etc.
Route
Planning - Through the use of a PDA in the vehicle, individuals
can plan routes and notify required parties of your routing plans.
Routes can also be sent securely from your host to the in-vehicle
PDA.
Real-Time
Tracking and Location - Knowing where your vehicles are in
real-time (every seven seconds) significantly reduces loss and
protects executives or high ranking dignitaries. From your own
facility or monitoring center your vehicles are displayed on a
user-friendly digital map. Additionally, information such as speed,
time, and the direction the vehicle is traveling is also provided.
The system features automatic real-time tracking of the movements
of your vehicle in the event that is had been stolen or hijacked.
This vital information can be easily relayed to local law enforcement
as well as being stored for future needs.
