GARMIN
GPSMAP 525/525s
Discontinued and replaced with the Garmin GPSMAP 526/526s
The
GPSMAP 535 and 535s feature crisp, sunlight-readable
VGA displays driven by high-speed processors. They offer exceptional
detail, fast redraw rates, and the most realistic photo-enhanced
cartography ever seen in their class of fixed-mount electronics.
Options such as true 3D-view mapping, both above and below the
waterline, plus available auto guidance safe-passage routings
help simplify navigation. And an optional SD card slot makes it
easy to plug in extra chart regions and features, as well as panoramic
aerial photo reference.
In addition, the 525s model comes with a powerful built-in 1,000-watt
RMS digital sonar – which can scan for fish, structure or
other items of interest lurking as deep as 2,000 feet (610 meters).
It's also CANet capable so you can share the sonar picture
with other plotter displays on your boat.

g2 Vision
All the new Garmin chartplotters feature basic worldwide satellite
imagery for a realistic "view from space" depiction. With optional g2 Vision cards, these images are upgraded to super
high-detail aerial photomapping. It's the most realistic map you've
ever seen on a graphical chartplotter. And you can navigate 'on
the picture' with a clear dynamic presentation of your boat's current
position.
Auto Guidance. The optional Auto Guidance technology, unlocked
via g2 Vision card, searches chart contents to suggest the safest
known charted route for navigation.
True 3D-view mapping. Garmin's newest chartplotters wil graphically
depict true 3D "mariner's eye" topside view or "fish
eye" underwater view navigation perspective for tricky shoals,
reefs, bridges, channels etc.
"Real
Picture" Photo Reference. Aerial photography gives mariners
a realistic visual overview of harbours, marinas, waterways and
other points of reference. The photos allow a visual reference for
nearby fuel pumps, dining spots, lodging and shore-side facilities.
Also included is City Navigator North America NT road data for navigation
up to five miles inland. |
