With
its 240 x 240 pixel, four-level gray scale screen, the Fishfinder 240 is clearly
the right choice for serious anglers. With more vertical pixels, the 240 provides
better separation of fish on the display. And more horizontal pixels represent
more history for bottom trends.
A
convenient control bar makes it easy to adjust gain, range and zoom. So without
hunting through complicated menus, you can quickly configure and save the settings
you want., and an internal backup system saves your settings. As lake conditions
change, you can fine-tune your Fishfinder 240 on the fly. Thanks to the Fishfinder
240's See-ThruT technology, fish have no place to hide. This technology separates
fish from thermoclines and structure, giving you a clear picture of what's beneath
your boat.
Another
exclusive feature is Depth Controlled Gain (DCGT), which automatically adjusts
Fishfinder sensitivity according to depth, not echo intensity like other fishfinders.
The result is a much more detailed and accurate picture of bottom structure.
High resolution FSTN display, nearly 11 square inches of display.
Power output of 400 watts (RMS), 3200 watts (peak to peak) at 200 kHz.
900 foot depth capability
Internal backup system automatically saves
custom settings even when power is disconnected or the boat's battery is low..
2X and 4X auto and manual zoom with split-screen capability - normal and
zoomed screens can be viewed simultaneously.
Optimized for performance
up to 70 mph.
Bright backlit keys and three level backlit display for
easy visibility at dawn, dusk or night fishing.
Audible warnings and
alerts for shallow or deep water, fish (by size) and for low battery voltage.
Detects if optional speed transducer is connected and automatically
displays speed.
Real-time flasher function.
NOTE:
A transducer is required for operation of the FishFinder 240. A plastic, transom
mount transducer with depth and temperature as well as a separate speed sensor
is supplied with 010-00169-01. If you wish to use another type of transducer you
could purchase the FishFinder 240 without a transducer (010-00169-00) and pair
it with one of GARMIN's range of single-frequency transducers. Click
