The nuvi 680 takes it up a notch by adding dynamic content from MSN® Direct. Using the included receiver and free trial service* to MSN Direct, you can check the weather, avoid traffic backups, compare local gas prices and check movie times and locations when you travel with your unit. Like the nuvi 360, nuvi 660 and nuvi 670, this pocket-sized GPS receiver comes with hands-free Bluetooth® wireless technology with a compatible Bluetooth cell phone. The nuvi 680 integrates wireless technology with a microphone and speaker. To make calls, just "dial" numbers with the nüvi's touch screen keypad; and to answer calls, tap nüvi's screen and speak directly into its microphone.

In addition to popular features in the whole nuvi family - like MP3 playback, FM modulator, a world clock, calculator, currency/measurement converter, preloaded City Navigator North America and reference tool options like Garmin Travel Guide, Language Guide and SaversGuide — nüvi 680 also has new features for which upgrades are available for older models, like configureable vehicle icons.
