Serial GPS Receiver BR-305
The
GlobalSat
BR-305 PDA GPS Receiver terminates into a PS2 connector and by
selecting the appropriate cable kit, it easily interfaces with
your model PDA and also charges your PDA's battery, while powering
the GPS receiver from your cigarette lighter. If you change your
PDA or wish to use the receiver with a laptop, just purchase another
cable.
A
water-resistant housing with a built-in magnet allows flexibility
for in-vehicle or external placement of the GPS receiver for maximum
signal reception. The
BR-305 is a 12-channel WAAS-enabled GPS receiver which has a built-in
LED to indicate the satellite acquisition status.

GPS supports NMEA 0183 protocol and so is compatible with these
and most any other NMEA compliant PDA mapping software available
on the market today:
