Built Dakota tough, this 12v 25 Ah volt lithium battery packs a big punch. Engineered with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology this battery has twice the power, half the weight, and lasts 5 times longer than a sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional lifetime value. 25 Amp hours of capacity provides a full day of power for high amp draw electronics like Garmin fish finders, ice augers, or anything where you need a longer run time. Dakota Lithium’s dual purpose BMS technology also provides 300cca of engine starting power for use in ATVs, UTVs, lawn tractors, generators, and other small gasoline engines. Same deep cycle performance as the legendary 10 Ah battery, but with 150% more capacity.
Replacement for 18Ah & 20Ah SLA batteries including size  UB12180, FM12180, 6fm18 and others. LiFePO4 charger recommended.

Capacity
25 Ampere hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 25 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Terminals
M6 terminals (posts that screw in). 2 sided terminal block allows for side or top installation. When used in salt water environments we recommend applying a small amount of dielectric grease on top of each terminal after installation. It helps extend the lifespan. (Recommended Torque 5 ft lbs, Max Torque 9 ft lbs)

Lifecycles (battery lifespan)
Up to 80% capacity for 3,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Operating temperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Avoid charging below 32°F.
Discharge
30A max continuous, 300A max pulse (<5 sec). The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% bigger capacity than a 25Ah SLA battery. Please note: a single battery is only appropriate for trolling motors with <20 lbs of thrust. For trolling motors with 20 to 45 lbs of thrust a single DL 54Ah battery is required. Or you can combine two batteries in parallel to create a 50 Amp continuous discharge rate and 60Ah of capacity. This provides the amps necessary to run the larger motor, increases runtime and lifespan of the battery.
Charge
30A max, 14.4V recommended, 15V max. Please note: this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery. Can be charged by ATV, UTV or powersports engine alternator (<30A output).
Includes active BMS protection
Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Drop in Replacement
Replaces size UB12180, size FM12180, and size 6fm18 SLA batteries with twice the run time and half the weight

All batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium’s cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, and train transport.

Smart Dual Purpose BMS
Optimizes battery for use in both deep cycle applications and engine starting applications and allows for the battery to be charged by a power sports, tractor, ATV, or UTV engine alternator.
Charger Sold Separately
This battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.
