MFJ-1234 RigPi Station Server with OS Keyer and Audio Interface

RigPi™ Station Server is a self-contained mini-computer that may be interfaced with your computer controllable transceiver to enable remote operations via the Internet. The MFJ-1234 RigPi Base is a Raspberry Pi ™ computer running Linux Firmware, plus the RigPi Audio and Keyer Board, plus the RigPi Keyer using the K1EL WinKeyer3 IC for keyboard or paddle input. The RigPi Audio board is used for VoIP for remote operations, digital modes and l/Q spectral display. It enables remote operations using a web browser on a mobile phone, iPad, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

RigPi™ Station Server (RSS) is a computer system that controls your station and handles on-the-air activities. It’s a radical new way to control your station using a server. It allows multiple users and radios to interact simultaneously using any Internet browser. Operate all modes SSB, CW, FM, digital — any transceiver mode. Control your station from anywhere via the internet using any browser — radio, rotor (addition device required), CW keying, VoIP, digital modes, logging, spot monitoring, call book lookups and more.

Here is a list of tasks that are possible with the MFJ-1234 RigPi™ Station Server:

• Operate digital modes including FT8 and RTTY; WSJT-X and FLDIGI are installed
• Look-up calls using the included FCC database or optional QRZ XML subscription
• Monitor DX spots and watch for unworked or unconfirmed calls
• Design, maintain multiple logs; upload ADIF logs to the ARRL LoTW serve
• Send Morse code from a mobile device, keyboard or paddle
• 32 user programmable macros provides excellent control flexibility

• Open as many web pages as you like on one or more devices: iPhones, tablets, and laptops. Two or more hams from different locations can operate different radios at the same time using one MFJ-1234. One browser can control a radio while a second can control another radio
• In addition to using any web browser, the following apps may be used to control the RigPi™: CommCat Mobile for iOS and CommCat for Windows.
