Can someone sit in the passenger seat while this mount is installed?
Technically someone can still sit in the passenger seat when this mount is installed but the mount does take up a considerable amount of leg room and it does make the passenger seat much less comfortable.

No, for right-hand drive vehicles, you would need the
RAM-VB-196-1-SW1.

No, the
RAM-VB-REM1 is not compatible with the RAM-VB-196-SW1 (Universal No Drill Laptop Mount). The Remove a Pole is attached between one of the vehicle specific no drill bases and a lower tele pole, the lower pole in the Universal No Drill Laptop mount is welded to the base plate itself.
