The Tru Flare 05 Kit is a flare kit for complete animal deterrent and signaling contained in a secure zippered pouch with specific compartments for the flare cartridges and thumb launcher. A nylon loop on the back of the flare kit allows for attachment to a belt or backpack for fast access to the emergency flares when you need it most.

Bear Deterrent Flares (Bear Bangers)

Outfitting the Pen Flare Launcher with a Bear Banger (6 bear bangers included) provides effective animal scaring while keeping you safe from a distance.

Long Distance Flare Visibility

The flare cartridges (6 red flares included) are visible for up to 3 km during the day and an impressive 12km at night.
